Battle Mode

The Versus Mode, which will be available for demo at the trial, features 9 levels from the original storyline, including the classic “Namco”, “The World’s First Budokai”, and “The Realm of the King of Gods”, as well as 50 characters to choose from. The game utilizes 3 vs. 3 team battles, where you can switch to other team members at any time during the battle to allow the backup team members to rest and recover their strength.

Episodic Battles

The “Battle Episodes” allows players to develop and challenge their fighting skills through famous battle scenes from the “Seven Dragon Ball” series. It features the growth of 8 characters, ranging from Seven Dragon Ball Z to Seven Dragon Ball Super. Character’s important moments will be presented through first and third person perspectives. Some levels will contain “IF choices” that are different from the original story, and these choices will lead to different development of the “IF Plot”.

Customized Battles

Custom Battles allow players to freely create, play and share battle scenes. It includes “Premium Battles” that are officially pre-set, “Edit Mode” that allows players to edit battle scenes freely, and “Share Battles” that allows players to share their edited battles with the world.

Sparking ZERO was developed with the goal of allowing players to take on the role of the game’s characters. Sparking ZERO utilizes the hardware performance of the new-generation console platforms to allow the game to show the subtle changes in the environment in detail. For example, when the character is accumulating power, the surrounding airflow will cause sand and rocks to blow the grass and trees. The weather will also change dynamically during the battle. The environment will also be destroyed when the character performs powerful moves. This allows players to fully experience the power of a super warrior.
Do game levels have boundaries?
The levels in DRAGON BALL: Sparking! ZERO are basically round fields with borders. When the player operates the character and approaches the border, the player will be reminded through the screen effect.
